Dress Code
The operative word in our Dress Code is appropriate – on the Course, in the Curling Rink, in the Golf Shop and in the Clubhouse. This is applicable to all members and guests, including children. The word appropriate is at the discretion of Club Management. Our policy is as follows:
- All event Convenors are responsible for communicating the dress code to participants.
- Members are responsible for communicating the dress code to their guests and children.
- The Golf Professional staff is responsible for overseeing and enforcing the dress code on the course and in and around the golf shop area.
- The enforcement of the dress code in the clubhouse and curling rink is the responsibility of the General Manager and staff.
- Denim is not permitted on any part of the golf course including the practice areas and putting green at any time.
- Sweat pants are not permitted on Club property.
- Protective wind, rain and cold suits/gear are permitted when required by the conditions.
- Promotional and commercial logos/slogans or trademarks on clothing are permitted, if they are golf related or pocket sized insignia.
- Golf sandals and metal spikes are not permitted on the golf course.
- Tailored golf style shirts with collar or sleeves or both may be worn with slacks, golf shorts or skirts when on the Golf Course.
- Golf skirts, shorts and skorts are to be an appropriate tailored variety with an outseam of not less than 17″ or must be no shorter than 4″ above the knee.
- Golf dresses must be no shorter than 4″ above the knee.
- Quarter socks or sockets must be worn with both skirts and shorts.
- Short shorts, track pants, halter/tube/tank tops are not permitted.
- No T-shirts please. Only authentic Mock shirts are allowed. All other shirts must have collars when on the Golf Course.
- All shirts must be tucked in, no exceptions.
- Slacks should be tailored and shorts must be no shorter than 2″ above the knee
- No cargo shorts/pants allowed.
- Knee socks, quarter socks or sockets must be worn with shorts. (Socks may not be rolled down.)
- The starters and Pro Shop staff have been instructed to issue “initial” verbal warnings and report them to the Men’s Golf Committee.
- Disciplinary letters will follow if needed.
- Hats must not be worn in the clubhouse at any time.
- Footwear must be worn in the clubhouse.
- Denim articles of clothing are permitted – No Ripped Jeans will be permitted.
- Sweat pants are not permitted on Club property.
- Promotional and commercial logos/slogans or trademarks on clothing are permitted , if they are pocket sized insignia.
- Demim articles of clothing are not permitted at any time in the Presidents Dining Room.
- The Dining Room (top of the stairs) is considered a more formal area. Golf shorts are not permitted.
- Business casual attire is appropriate for this room.
- Denim articles of clothing are not permitted in the Dining Room at any time.
